Freight Terms
Last updated October 2, 2026 · Buckets of Ink LLC
These terms apply to every shipping quote and every shipment Buckets of Ink arranges for you. By accepting a shipping quote you agree to them.
1. What the price is based on
Your shipping price is based on the details in the listing (weight, size, packing and pickup location) and the delivery details you chose: the type of location, how it will be unloaded, and any extra services. It includes only the services you selected.
2. Extra charges are yours
If the carrier finds anything different from the details used for the quote, or needs to provide a service that wasn't selected, the carrier's extra charges are added to your invoice and you agree to pay them. This includes:
- A residential, rural, farm, school, church, construction-site, storage-unit, military or other limited-access delivery location
- No loading dock or forklift at delivery (liftgate), or inside delivery
- A call or appointment before delivery
- A different weight, size or freight class after the carrier re-weighs or re-inspects the shipment
- Redelivery, a missed or refused delivery, waiting time, storage at the terminal, or an address change
- Any other carrier charge that results from your delivery location or instructions
Buckets of Ink is not responsible for these charges. We'll send you the carrier's charge and you agree to pay it within 15 days.
3. How it works
A quote is valid for 7 days. When you accept it, we send you an invoice for the freight (on its own or with the equipment). Nothing is booked or picked up until that invoice is paid. Once it's paid, we book the pickup, create the bill of lading and send you tracking.
4. Who carries it
Buckets of Ink arranges the shipment with a licensed carrier (usually TForce Freight). The carrier, not Buckets of Ink, transports the equipment. The carrier's rules and limits of liability apply to the shipment.
5. Delivery and damage
Inspect the equipment before you sign for it. Write any damage or missing pieces on the delivery receipt, take photos, and tell us within 24 hours. Damage that isn't noted on the delivery receipt may not be covered by the carrier. Claims are filed with the carrier and are limited to what the carrier pays. Extra coverage for the full value is available if you ask for it before the shipment is booked.
6. Unloading, cancellations and limits
A liftgate lowers the shipment to the ground at the truck. Moving it from there, rigging, and getting it through doors or up stairs are up to you unless you bought inside delivery. If you cancel after the pickup is booked, any carrier charges already incurred are yours. Buckets of Ink's total liability for a shipment is limited to what you paid for the freight. Arizona law applies, and disputes are decided in Maricopa County, Arizona.
